I purchased a Marware Sportfolio for my ibook a few years back. I traveled all over the country with my laptop in the saddlebag of a motorcycle. It took quite a jarring over time but never got wet, malfunctioned or cracked. The Sportfolio is neoprene with padding on all the edges. It zips closed and isn't floppy like a sleeve. I bought a bigger laptop and went straight to Amazon to get a bigger Sportfolio.

i wanted something not bulky and that i could use to put my macbook pro 15 inch in and slip it in my backpack if need be. this case does just that. if you are wanting to put your mouse, charger, or anything else of that size in i would recommend buying a bigger case. this one is simply for toting and protecting your laptop, not much else. i wouldn't buy this if you are concerned of dropping your carrying case because it just won't offer that much protection. it's just slightly padded.

My 15" MacBook fits into this bag easily and there is enough room in the interior for the power cord and other small, non-bulky items. The front pocket is best for thicker objects like books as it has a lot of give. For thinner file folders, loose pages and the like, there is a zippered pocket in back where they can be kept so as not to slide out.

The shoulder strap is wide enough for comfort and easily adjustable. The bag is thin, which I think is a big plus. But this product could be a challenge for cat owners as the fabric is a hair magnet!

I am a little disappointed in the protective structure of the bag. It's minimal. If you are a bit clumsy or travel often, I'm not sure your laptop would be adequately protected. If you need a lightweight bag however to occasionally transport your computer to the local coffee shop, this should do the trick.

Really nice bag. Good protection, nice carry handles for both shoulder and normal, plus room for all your bits and pieces. Best thing for me is that its still small and thin so fits in my laptop pack back.

The product arrived in exactly the same condition in which it was described. The only discrepancy between the manner in which it was depicted and its ultimate functionality derives from the limiting "Macbook Pro" label attached to the product. While the label specifies the "Pro" model, the case provides adequate protection to my 15" "Macbook." In the interest of consumer awareness, the label might be revised to clearly indicated that the case is capable of protecting either model of the computer.

Otherwise, this purchase represented an excellent transaction.
