I bought this system because i love having a more "theater" sound. I don't make a lot and have a very tight budget. I brought this system home, routed the wires through the basement, hooked everything up, and...... Well I tried to turn it on. The I/O switch on the front did nothing, the remote (batteries installed correctly, (thanks Sony Help Line, sarcasm) did nothing as well, The unit wouldn't turn on. After finding out that Sony had a crappy return policy and SEARS wasn't going to help because I couldn't afford the extra "insurance", my step son hit the on/off button and it worked????????? Well for a while, after a week of not using it, I just tried turning it on again and nothing..... This just gets me more upset. I don't know what I'm going to do now but if I were you, stay away from this one.

This Home Theater is the whole package. Great prodcut for the price. There are only two minor problems. The size of the A/V reciever is a bit big. And one big flaw is that the Digital Media Port Adapter for the Ipod wont ADAPT to the IPHONE and I recently got one so i a am kind of upset with that. If theres some kind of adapter i can put it to the TDM IP10 it would be great.

Overall this product is very good and you get the great sony quality for a very reasonable price. I would buy it again .

I have always loved Sony electronics. I was sooooooooooo surprised for the price I paid(which I caught on sale for less at a local retailer)that the sound quality was like a system that would cost hundreds more. It was simple to set-up and the i-Pod feature makes my music almost sound like I am using a Bose system. I like it soooooo much I have convinced my husband to get me another one as a gift to hook up in another room of the house.

You defintely won't be sorry for purchasing this home theatre system. It's fabulous!!!!!!!!!

I never got to see how this item worked. I set it up, plugged in the receiver and it wouldn't turn on. Very sad.:-(
