- When you need a full-featured computer, but can't take your office PC and monitor with you, the Satellite P25 is the answer. It's packed with all the essential features you need to get the job done. This model is configured with a 3.4GHz Pentium 4 processor with HyperThreading technology, a 512KB L2 cache, an 80GB hard drive and 512MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 2GB). In addition to the 800MHz front bus speed, this Satellite contains two Type I/II PC Card slots that can also accommodate one Type III card, a Secure Digital slot and a DVD+/-RW SuperMulti drive with software decoder so you can relax with a movie after working. For your communications needs, there are three integrated solutions: a V.92/56K modem for dial-up, a 10/100 Ethernet to connect to your LAN and 802.11b/g wireless when you're roaming. The large 17 TFT display produces tremendous visuals and the nVidia GeForce FX Go5700 graphics controller with 128MB DDR SDRAM supports internal resolutions up to 1440 x 900 and external resolutions up to 2048 x 1536, both in millions of colors. You'll love the Realtek ALC202 16-bit stereo audio with built-in Harmon/Kardon speakers. Switch out the battery for the included TV tuner module and you have access to HDTV component connectors. The P25 comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, an AC adapter, a full-size keyboard with dedicated Windows and applications keys, and a touchpad pointer. Windows XP Media Center Edition is pre-installed.
